The American University in Cairo's Career Center is a pioneer in the region in the area of university career education, employer relations and recruitment. It was established in 1991 to become the first university career center providing comprehensive career services in the Middle East. AUC Career Center offers a variety of services to help undergraduate students, alumni and graduate students identify their career goals and paths, as well as gain work experience while and after studying at AUC.

Spring 2022 Employment Fair: Looking Forward to Bright Careers
AUC Career Center hosted its fifth virtual Employment Fair on March 26, 2022, delivering yet another successful career event. The Employment Fair is a staple Career Center event held every semester, allowing students and alumni to connect with employers and grab available career opportunities. This year, more than 1000 people registered for the event, including more than 20 people who joined the event from abroad, and 70 plus companies were represented at the fair.
Career Day 2021: Virtually Exploring Careers in Egypt
On February 16, 2021, the AUC Career Center hosted its annual Career Day virtually for the first time. The event is a unique opportunity for students to meet with seasoned professionals from 25 career fields in online roundtable discussions. Students get to ask questions about different careers, how to prepare for them, challenges they might face, etc.
Mock Interviews Week Spring 2022
Through Spring 2022, more than 25 employers participated in AUC Mock Interview Week. They conducted around 80 interviews to improve students interviewing skills and give them immediate feedback to help them encounter real world experience. Special thanks to all our employers who participated in AUC Mock Interviews Week Spring 2022.
