Cooperative Education (Co-Op) is a pre-graduation experiential learning program that complements academic education in the classroom with real-world on the job training.
The Career Center contributes to the career readiness and professional growth of AUC students through the development and implementation of different programs and events in collaboration with faculty, staff and student leaders
The Career Center has developed and delivered in-class career modules, coordinated in-class visits of corporate professionals and facilitated the in-depth contribution of corporate managers in student learning through the practical learning program (PLP). The Career Center also collaborates with student leaders with regards to corporate engagement in challenges and competitions as well as events.

The Work Study program is coordinated by the Career Center to provide AUC academic and administrative departments/offices with the opportunity to temporarily hire undergraduate and graduate
The AUC Career Center collaborates with students’ organizations to introduce career center services to freshmen, enhance students’ engagement in career center programs and events as well as foster career readiness among AUC students.
The Job Shadowing program introduces undergraduate students to potential careers by allowing them to shadow individual business professionals (mentors) and observe their daily routines and activities.
Instead of offering a full case study, employers can opt for an in-class visit, in coordination with the faculty, in which a professional can share his expertise by visiting a class as a guest speaker.

The Career Center has designed and implemented several in-class career modules in collaboration with faculty members across different schools and departments.
As part of reaching out to the community, the Career Center opted to participate in the first summer bootcamps held at AUC premises during the summer of 2019.
AUC marked a milestone in its mission to expand its outreach and services, implementing a project that will impact roughly 1 million students at public universities.
