Maureen Guirguis is a Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager at SBA – Grant Thornton. With a deep-rooted expertise in the MENA region – particularly Egypt, KSA, Qatar, and the UAE – she has navigated a wide range of transfer pricing matters, including advisory, compliance, benchmarking, and documentation. Maureen’s experience extends to various intra-group transactions, including manufacturing, sales and marketing, and distribution, alongside advising clients on several intellectual property transactions such as technical and management services and know-how. Having worked with clients that run the gamut of industries, she has gained expertise in sectors such as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), legal, financial technology, consumer products, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, telecommunication, and retail. Beyond her professional endeavors, Maureen has contributed significantly to academia as an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Economics at the American University in Cairo (AUC) since 2021. Shereen Waheed is an Audit and Assurance Assistant Manager at SBA – Grant Thornton, with specialized experience in external audits. She has several years of expertise in delivering complex audit engagements for clients across Egypt in various industries, including group audits, hospitality, trading, manufacturing, and automotive. As an Audit and Assurance Assistant Manager, Shereen is responsible for leading audit teams, overseeing audit planning and execution, as well as ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial statements. She possesses a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements, enabling her to provide valuable insights tailored to the specific needs of each client. Walid was a Private Equity Analyst in Misr Capital. Prior to that, Walid was an Investment Analyst in LS Investment Office. Bassem Kameel is a well-known Egyptian radio personality and entertainer. He rose to prominence through his work on radio stations like Radio Hits 88.2 and NRJ 92.1 for the past 15 years, where his engaging and lively personality made him a fan favorite. Noha Soliman is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the Reserves Management Unit in the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). Besides managing the Central Bank’s long-term foreign reserves portfolio, Noha is part of the structured funding team. Her roles at the CBE give her exposure to both the assets and liabilities sides. Prior to her seven year journey in central banking, Noha worked in Equity Research in a number of local investment houses.
