Iman Yehia is a data-driven credit risk and analytics professional with a strong background in fintech and corporate risk management. At Khazna, she serves as credit policy and monitoring manager, where she leads the development of all Saudi Arabia credit and risk policies submitted to SAMA, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. She also builds interactive dashboards, delivers data-driven investment presentations and conducts portfolio analyses that strengthen risk monitoring and strategic decision-making.
Yehia began her career at Khazna as a junior data analyst, working on data cleansing and KPI dashboards, and grew into roles in data analytics and automation. She optimized retention strategies, improved reporting efficiency and enhanced customer onboarding through A/B testing. Alongside her professional work, she is passionate about education and designed and facilitated a Data Analytics Bootcamp at the American University in Cairo, equipping participants with hands-on skills in SQL, visualization and applied analytics.

Ayman Hakky is a sports entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in the sports industry as an athlete, coach, business manager and board member. Following his graduation from the German School, DEO, he studied economics at The American University in Cairo and the University of California, Los Angeles. Hakky joined British Petroleum in 2009 and worked as a commercial analyst for six years before founding The TriFactory in 2015, with the vision of developing triathlon in Egypt and the surrounding region.
Since then, he has overseen The Tri Factory’s growth into Egypt’s leading mass participation sports event organiser. The company now has a full-time team of 20 employees, managing a wide variety of events each year, including the AIMS-certified Pyramids Half Marathon, Tough Mudder Egypt, El Gouna Half Marathon and Somabay Endurance Festival. Hakky is also the co-founder of Racemate, Egypt’s leading running app, and served as a board member at Gezira Sporting Club from 2017 to 2021.

Sandra Samuel is an international tax manager at Grant Thornton Egypt, with more than eight years of experience helping companies navigate value-added tax (VAT), trade laws and global tax systems.

Aya El Maghraby (’17) graduated from The American University in Cairo with a bachelor's degree in psychology and holds a Culinary Arts Diploma from City & Guilds London. She began her culinary career through Marriott’s Voyage Leadership Program, spending five years at JW Marriott and progressing from intern to junior sous chef. In 2021, El Maghraby completed an internship at the three-Michelin-star restaurant Aponiente in Cádiz, Spain. She has since worked across the culinary field as a menu development consultant, casual-dining food and beverage operations manager, application chef in a flavour house, and culinary manager in a cloud-kitchen company.
El Maghraby is currently a sous chef (R&D) at Zooba Restaurants, where she leads culinary innovation and menu development across Egypt, the GCC and New York City. She is passionate about using food to tell stories, spark creativity and bring people together.

Alain Koloian is a fashion designer with over eight years of experience in the industry. Although he holds a degree in architecture, he has devoted his career to fashion design. ElAroussi currently serves as a lead design architect at AE7, where he leads teams in shaping landmark projects that merge global best practices with regional identity. Previously, he was a senior design architect at Dar Al-Handasah, contributing to transformative projects in Cairo, Khobar and Dubai, and developing expertise in delivering work that responds thoughtfully to both cultural context and client vision.

Passant Ahmed Baioumi is a design architect with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and a minor in digital media from The American University in Cairo. Ayah Hani is a senior supply chain manager at Procter & Gamble, where she has managed businesses across the Middle East and Africa region. Hani graduated from The American University in Cairo with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a business minor. During her University years, she was highly involved in extracurricular activities, winning the ENGCOMM competition in Canada and co-founding ICC, the first international case competition at AUC.

Noaman Khalid is a seasoned MENA economist with over a decade of experience spanning investment banking, commercial banking and economic research. He is currently the head of the Economic Unit at Arab African International Bank (AAIB), where he leads the bank’s economic research and strategic outlook.
Throughout his career, he has held senior economist roles at leading regional institutions including the National Bank of Kuwait, Arqaam Capital and CI Capital, covering Egypt and the wider MENA region. He has published over 100 economic notes and policy assessments, advised policymakers and corporate leaders, and represented his institutions in global forums including the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings.
Noaman holds a master’s in economics from The American University in Cairo and is widely recognized for his ability to distill complex macroeconomic analysis into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers.

Nihal El-Banna is an Egyptian career diplomat currently serving as second secretary at the cabinet of the assistant minister for multilateral and regional economic affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position she has held since 2017. In this role, she advances Egypt’s strategic interests in international economic institutions and regional partnerships, ensuring the country’s development priorities are effectively represented in multilateral forums.
Before joining the ministry, El-Banna gained private-sector experience as corporate relationship manager at Barclays Bank Egypt, where she managed large corporate portfolios and ensured compliance with international standards across diverse industries. She also served as senior economic researcher in the ministerial cabinet of the Ministry of International Cooperation, coordinating programs with the European Commission and conducting research to enhance the socio-economic impact of development initiatives.
El-Banna holds an MSc in the political economy of development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a BA in economics from The American University in Cairo. Her cross-sector expertise and commitment to public service position her as a dynamic contributor to Egypt’s economic diplomacy and international engagement.
Mohamed Hassan is a career diplomat with nearly 15 years of experience in Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which he joined in 2011. He has served in diverse roles across the Departments of Israel, the Americas, the Office of the Spokesperson and the Diplomatic, Consular and Inspection Corps Sector. His overseas assignments include postings at Egypt’s embassies in Pretoria and London, where he worked to strengthen Egypt’s bilateral relations and represent its interests abroad.
Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a specialization in information systems and a master’s degree in international relations. He speaks Arabic, English and Spanish. Rana Abdelnaby is a nutritionist with more than nine years of experience in nutrition and corporate wellness. She holds a master’s degree in personalized nutrition from Middlesex University, UK, and has partnered with multinational companies including PwC, Mountain View and Bosch Egypt to design and deliver impactful wellness programs and workshops.
Her practice integrates evidence-based nutrition with coaching techniques to foster sustainable results rather than quick fixes. Abdelnaby specializes in creating tailored meal plans that are realistic, enjoyable and aligned with individual goals and personal preferences. Psychology
Farah Shash is a community psychologist specializing in gender issues and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The American University in Cairo (AUC) in 2009, followed by a master’s degree in community psychology in 2012. Her thesis examined gender mainstreaming as a public policy tool to achieve gender equality in Egypt before and after the revolution.
With more than 10 years of experience, Shash has worked extensively with Egyptian and refugee women survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking. Her expertise spans service provision, project design, research, strategic planning, policy analysis and advocacy. She has served as a consultant for nonprofit and private-sector organizations including Plan International, Drosos Foundation and Save the Children.
In addition, she has hands-on experience in case management and psychosocial service provision through her work with the African and Middle East Refugee Assistance (AMERA) and the Nadeem Center for Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence. From 2017 to 2018, Shash chaired HarassMap, an award-winning volunteer-based initiative working to end sexual harassment in Egypt.

Basma ElEtreby is an impact-driven policy advisor with more than 14 years of experience across the Middle East and Africa. She has worked with and for government entities, think tanks, international nongovernmental organizations (INGOs), donor agencies and consultancies, bringing a unique blend of regional insight and global perspective on policy affairs. Her expertise ranges from advancing responsible banking principles in the region to advising multinational companies on geopolitical issues and championing women’s political participation in underserved communities.
ElEtreby holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science from The American University in Cairo. She has also completed the Strategy Execution for Public Leadership program at Harvard University and the Public Policy Analysis course at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
A proud mother of two daughters, she is passionate about career coaching and supporting female-led innovation and startups. Now based in Cairo, she has previously lived in Boston, London and Dubai.

Amira Adel is a passionate academic and development professional with a strong focus on advancing social impact through education. Adel holds a master’s degree in political science, with her thesis exploring the role of civil society organizations in shaping identities and affiliations in Egypt—a theme that continues to inform her work on the intersection of education, civil society and social transformation. She is currently pursuing a PhD in political science at Cairo University, focusing on civil society and education.
