Mock Interviews Series: Spring 2025
The Career Center organized the mock interview series during the spring semester of 2025. The event is an annual opportunity for students to practice their interviewing skills with real employers before they graduate. Students also receive immediate feedback on their responses, attitudes and different professional attributes. Around 20 employers and 100 graduating senior students attended the event.
In reaction to organizing the mock interview series this year, all participants expressed their gratitude for the difference that the mock interviews made in their interview skills and preparation for the real job market.
“It was such an insightful experience. I got to know more about my intended career path. I recognized my points of weakness that I need to work on,” said Lama Maraei, a graduating senior student majoring in marketing.
“I am so satisfied with the feedback I’ve received from my interviewer. She has guided me on what to change and keep, and she was open to all my questions,” said Jessy Ramsis, a senior psychology major.
Each interview ended up with valuable insights and advice from the professional, helping students to grow and improve further.
Professionals were all welcoming students with a wide smile. They were listening attentively to their responses and encouraging them to reveal more about their experiences and skills.
“I am highly impressed with the students’ practical experience and knowledge. They are actually our targeted upcoming employees,” said Hossam Elkoussi, a representative of KPMG Egypt.
The event serves as a unique chance for both seniors and graduating seniors to explore their field of interest before venturing into the real world of work. It starts with applying to a slot with a specific employer that suits their experience, career interests and aspirations. Students get fully prepared with professional attire and in-depth preparation about the job and the employer to show their best in the interview.
