Alia Shaaban is Orange Egypt’s mass segment marketing manager, responsible for the mass consumer segment and a portfolio of key telecom products.

Since joining Orange, she has progressed through multiple roles within the organization, contributing to the strategic growth and evolution of Orange’s mass-market portfolio.

Her work sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer needs, and evolving market dynamics. Her experience spans product development and strategy, commercial growth, customer engagement, digital loyalty, and strategic partnerships across both telecom and non-telecom propositions.

Ali Wael is a customer insights and business analytics professional with more than three years of experience transforming large-scale data into actionable business decisions, including developing customer segmentation and behavioral insights to support commercial strategies, analyzing sales and commercial performance to identify opportunities and drive growth and delivering churn and retention insights to better understand customer behavior. He translates market and customer data into meaningful insights for strategic decision-making and leverages advanced SQL, Power BI and Excel for analytics, visualization and reporting. Wael also leads reporting automation efforts to improve efficiency and accessibility, while providing cross-functional analytics support that enables informed decisions across multiple business areas.

Yasmin currently works in the fintech and innovation department at the Central Bank of Egypt, enabling and empowering fintechs in Egypt. Prior to joining the Central Bank of Egypt, she worked at Algebra Ventures' talent team, Egypt's biggest venture capital fund. Before that, Yasmin was a strategic management assistant lecturer at the German University in Cairo and is a published researcher in corporate entrepreneurship. Alongside her academic career, she was a consultant on various marketing and CSR strategy projects, such as Nestlé's healthy kids CSR program and USAID's Strengthening Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development project.

Sherif Abdelmoaty is a corporate finance professional with a strong academic foundation in actuarial science from The American University in Cairo (graduated February 2013). From day one, his passion has centered on finance — a drive that led him to explore and build expertise across several of its most dynamic sub-fields, including private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance, where he has ultimately chosen to focus and grow his career.

Yassin Osman is an analyst at LimeVest, focusing on investment analysis, valuation and transaction execution across the firm’s portfolio in the MENA region. Mariam Abouhegazy is head of women and girls at Right To Dream Egypt and a former professional footballer.

She graduated from The American University in Cairo (AUC) with a bachelor's degree in integrated marketing communications and a minor in business administration. Sports were a constant throughout her school years and at AUC she played for the women's football team, serving as co-captain in her final year while also competing professionally in the Egyptian women's football league.

After graduating, Abouhegazy began her career in marketing before deciding to shift toward football full-time. She pursued a master's degree in football business at the Johan Cruyff Institute in Spain, then went on to help female footballers secure sports scholarships and club placements abroad, allowing them to continue their education while still playing competitively. That work led to her introduction to Right To Dream.

In 2022, she was offered the role of head of women and girls at Right To Dream Egypt, tasked with building the organization's women and girls strategy from scratch to meet goals the organization had set. Four years on, she continues to lead that department in Egypt while also contributing to Right To Dream's global women and girls strategy, helping build opportunities for girls in football from the ground up.

Omar Fouad is a media professional with more than 25 years of experience in broadcast journalism, video production, and media development. Throughout a distinguished career spanning leading international organizations including The Associated Press (AP), AlJazeera Media Network, AFP, 10Mojo, and Alghad TV, Fouad has specialized in visual storytelling, live production, technical operations, and content development. 

Currently serving as a senior development specialist at Alghad TV, Fouad combines editorial expertise with technical leadership to drive innovative media projects and digital content strategies. His extensive background in directing, video journalism, production management and newsroom operations has established him as a versatile leader in the Arab media industry.

Ahmed Atef Abbas is an internationally awarded filmmaker, video producer and creative professional based in Egypt. He is the founder of CUE Media House, a video production company specializing in cinematic storytelling, documentary-style filmmaking, branded content, advertising and social media video production.

Abbas has worked with prominent media and production companies in Egypt, including CBC, DMC and WATCH IT. His work has also been aired and distributed across major streaming platforms, including Shahid, WATCH IT and Netflix.

Alongside his work in the industry, Abbas is an experienced adjunct professor teaching media and video production at The American University in Cairo. His work combines storytelling, visual direction, editing and creative production to create engaging films and compelling branded content.

As a forward-thinking visual storyteller, Ali drives innovation and excellence in animation. His career began with a distinguished education at the Egyptian Academy of Art, where he earned a double major in film and animation. Hagar Hassan Adss is a documentary filmmaker, media educator and marketing professional, serving as the co-founder and chief marketing officer of CUE Media House. With extensive experience across filmmaking, content creation, scriptwriting, directing and marketing consultancy, she brings together creative storytelling and strategic communication to develop impactful media projects.

Adss holds a master's in television and digital journalism from The American University in Cairo, where she also serves as adjunct faculty. Through her academic work, she contributes to the development of emerging media professionals, combining practical industry experience with academic knowledge.

As a marketing consultant and media professional, Adss has worked on a diverse range of projects, taking on various creative and strategic roles, including director, content creator, scriptwriter and producer. Her work reflects a commitment to authentic storytelling, creative visual communication and the integration of innovative production techniques with effective marketing strategies.

Adss also serves as an international judge for documentary films, advertising videos and educational videos at the Media Arts Festival in Las Vegas, contributing her professional expertise to the evaluation of creative and media productions from around the world.

Her achievements in documentary filmmaking include receiving the Award of Excellence for her documentary film Man Ahyaha (من أحياها) at the Media Arts Festival, recognizing the film's creative and professional merit. In addition, she helped win more than 60 international awards.

Throughout her career, Adss has collaborated on numerous television programs, marketing campaigns and media productions. Her professional background also includes working as a journalist, television program anchor and media coordinator for several Egyptian television channels and newspapers.

Haitham Alsawy currently serves as the director of development at Alghad Media Network, a position he has held since January 2025. In 2023, he worked as a consultant for United Media Academy. In 2024, he launched the Digital Transformation Project at DMC Channel and established the DMC Plus platform.  

Alsawy founded and managed three specialized academies: ONA Academy from 2012 to 2016, Cairo Media School from 2016 to 2020 and Ten Mojo Academy, specializing in mobile production studios, from 2020 to 2022. This experience represented the foundation for establishing digital studios at Media Production City, which received accreditation from the French organization Samsa.fr, before this model was later transferred to Alghad TV. He also contributed to the launch of ONTV Live in its first edition in 2011, the establishment of the Multimedia Department at Al Watan newspaper in 2012, as well as the Black and White Debates project in 2017. 

Alsawy holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Cairo University, in addition to six specialized diplomas in training and new media from international institutions, including BBC Media Action, Samsa.fr, Press Club Concordia, RTL, Cinemaker, and the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a member of the main committee for the development of the Egyptian Media Industry, which was established by the Egyptian Prime Minister's Office in October 2025. 

Yasmine El Dorghamy is the founder of Rawi Publishing for History, Heritage and Art, a bilingual platform dedicated to making Egyptian history accessible to a wide audience. Founded in 2010 as a periodical, Rawi has since grown into a broader publishing platform producing a richly illustrated book series and commissioned publications on Egypt’s history, heritage and culture.

Rawi’s flagship editions have explored subjects including jewelry, modern Egyptian art, cinema, culinary history, costume, and the history of medicine and healing practices, combining academic research with strong visual storytelling. Its publications are available in Egypt and internationally, including at the British Museum Bookshop, the Mosaic Rooms in London, the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, and university and research libraries worldwide.

Alongside Rawi’s own publications, El Dorghamy has curated and produced commissioned books and cultural projects, including a museum guidebook for the Suez Canal Museum and a permanent gallery on the history of medicine at Al Nas Hospital in Cairo.

Fady Garas is an award-winning sound designer, composer, and music producer with over 10 years of professional experience across advertising, film, digital media and branded content. He has worked on 500+ projects and campaigns, including work for Netflix, AJ+, and international production teams. His work has received a Dubai Lynx Gold Award for sound design and recognition for best sound design at the San Francisco Fashion Film Festival. He has also had the opportunity to work alongside renowned Hollywood sound designer Randy Thom and contributed Arabic field recordings to the 2016 feature film Allied. Garas is currently expanding his expertise into game audio, with a focus on interactive sound design and Wwise implementation.

Mostafa Salem is an award-winning architect, Ministry of Culture Ambassador and founder of Coconut, a Dubai-based studio specializing in architecture and interior design. He has received 14 national and international awards across architecture, urban design, interiors, lighting and storytelling - including a full MSc scholarship from the University of Greenwich. 

Salem curated Egypt’s National Pavilion at the 15th Venice Biennale of Architecture and secured 2nd place representing Egypt in the 2025 edition. He is the initiator of the Cairo Makeover Initiative, which led to government-backed restoration projects across Egypt’s historic districts. He was honored with the 2025 Egypt State Encouragement Award, the Al Rawi Storyteller Award, 1st place at the SYNC Awards, and most recently, the Creativity Award in Digital Media on Architecture from the Arab Council for the General Union of Arab Archaeologists.

George Nazeeh is a mechanical engineer with a strong background spanning research and development, module design and technical leadership across multiple industries. He earned his bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Cairo University in 1992, followed by teaching experience as a teaching assistant at Cairo University from 1994 to 1996. He then completed his master's in metallurgy through Coventry University and Cairo University in 1996, before building industry expertise in bus design and manufacturing from 1996 to 2000. Over the next two decades, Nazeeh progressed through roles including research and development manager from 2000 to 2006, research and development and module design senior manager from 2006 to 2010, and research and development with FEA and module design from 2010 to 2014, expanding his scope further to include overseas technical support from 2014 to 2020. From 2020 to 2024, he served as technical general manager (design expert), and since 2024, he has continued as the feeding industries technical general manager, holding the position through 2026.

Sara Mallawany is a clinical and transcultural psychologist with over ten years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health care. Hoda El Enguebawy has been an Egyptian diplomat with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2012. She currently serves as first secretary in the Department of Diplomatic Corps. She has held several roles of increasing responsibility, including second secretary in the Department of Diplomatic Corps Affairs from 2021 to 2022 and diplomat at the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations in New York from 2019 to 2021, where she served as lead expert and negotiator for the UN Second Committee on economic and financial matters, ECOSOC, UNDP, QCPR, the Resident Coordinator system, NEPAD and broader sustainable development and macroeconomic issues.

Earlier positions include political officer in the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2019, managing Egypt and US bilateral relations, UN affairs and international economic organizations, as well as diplomatic attaché in the European Department.

She has represented Egypt as lead negotiator in major processes such as the 2020 Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review, ECOSOC Financing for Development Forums, G77 Ministerial Declarations and numerous high-level UN meetings on South-South cooperation, digital connectivity, middle-income countries and the 2030 Agenda.

Before her diplomatic career, ElEnguebawy worked as an international relations specialist at the National Council for Women from 2008 to 2012, focusing on the implementation of international conventions on women's rights, CEDAW, the Commission on the Status of Women and related conferences, and earlier as a business development coordinator in the private sector. She completed her bachelor's in French language at Al Alsun University in 2006.

She has completed specialized training at institutions including the NATO Center of Excellence, NESA Center, Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, ENA Paris and Freie Universität Berlin. Fluent in English, French and Arabic, she brings expertise in political analysis, negotiation, strategic planning and multilateral diplomacy, underpinned by experience as a member of official Egyptian delegations to summits of the OIC, Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, Egypt and EU and Egypt and US dialogues and other high-level forums.

Sue Ellen is the founder and managing director of Sue Ellen Law Firm, previously head of legal at AlFuttaim Egypt, founder of the Sue Ellen Foundation for Legal Development, a legal fellow in various governmental entities and a member of the board of trustees at the Egyptian Center for Arbitration Settlement of Non-Banking Disputes governed by the Financial Regulatory Authority.

Ellen has been practicing law since 2006 and has served as a chief legal officer in Egypt across various prominent corporations in the international sector. She has also served as legal counselor at the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

Ellen is a lecturer at The American University in Cairo and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.

Her practice concentrates on white-collar, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, civil and corporate laws, antitrust, labor and dispute resolution.

Believing in legal development, Ellen founded the Sue Ellen Foundation for Legal Development. She was recognized by both the French and Finnish embassies in 2018, 2019 and 2021, and she is consistently ranked as a leading counsel in business law. She was also appointed by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt as one of the top 21 influential women in 2021 and 2022.

Reham is the co-founder and research director of Synerjies, an Egyptian think tank and policy consultancy working at the intersection of research, government advisory, decision-making support and development. Over more than a decade, she has led major research-to-policy and research-to-implementation projects including Egypt's National Employment Strategy, National Intellectual Property Strategy and the institutional and digital transformation of the statistical process of CAPMAS. Reham built deep experience running research-centric policy consultancy projects for governments and international organizations spanning economic development, market research and labor market analysis, with a particular focus on translating rigorous research into implementable national policy.

Along the way, Reham worked with international development organizations including UNDP, ILO, GIZ, USAID and the League of Arab States. Her work has also taken her beyond Egypt, leading regional engagements across the MENA region, including technical support to the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on economic diplomacy and international cooperation across more than 35 countries.

Reham holds a master's in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester, a bachelor's in economics from The American University in Cairo and an executive education degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She also serves as a trainer for the UN Global Compact's annual Sustain 360 program on sustainable development.
