A graduate of 2010 majoring in Business Admin and minoring in economics, I began my career in finance and consulting before switching to sales at an FMCG while developing my craft as a photographer in my free time. In 2015 I moved to New York city and decided to dedicate my focus to the art by studying at the renown International Center of Photography. After two years working as a photographer in the city, I decided the opportunities in Cairo could sustain a business focused on photography and I opened my first studio at the Greek Campus. My experience in festivals and events and my business upbringing drives me towards media consultancy opportunities such as supporting the establishment of the Scene Noise platform with the MO4 group and my work with Nacelle and Sandbox Festival. This holistic approach to creating content for clients pushed me to establish my content consulting company; Kroma Projekts LLC and we are steadily growing our services. Kroma Projekts is the evolution of my work as a photographer and my business upbringing; we are also the first Live Stream service provider in Egypt. KROMA PROJEKTS is a collective of fine art and documentary ARTISTS brought together by A passion TO SHARE their CRAFT with a wider audience. WE DO THIS by creating emotionally driven content for cutting edge culture around the world.

Teaching is a job where it is imperative to have a philosophy; a vision for its purpose and direction. My teaching philosophy stems from a belief that in the pursuit of a meaningful life, one has to think critically about the world and to engage creatively in its challenges; reading and writing allow us to be part of both the input and the output of human experience. English, serves as a platform to make us better readers and writers not only of books, but of our day-to-day lives. To communicate this outlook, I design my classes to foster various approaches to literature based on reader-response theory. Through the instructional routines and activities, students are encouraged to improve their interpretive processes and enhance cognitive skills. Throughout my life as a teacher, I have strived to meet the following goals: promote critical thinking and creativity, advocate empathy, respect and appreciation for differences, engage students in rigorous learning and promote the pursuit of information, not just its consumption.
