Exemplary Career Center Award

AUC Career Center, first outside of the United Staes, to win the 2026 NCDA Global Award AUC Career Center wins the 2026 Exemplary Career Center global award from the National Career Development Association (NCDA), becoming the first center outside the United States to receive this prestigious honor. The award recognizes the center’s outstanding innovation in career education, commitment to experiential learning and career readiness, and sustained employability efforts.

This award is the second international award for the Career Center, after winning MENASA NASPA’s regional award last March. Dean of Students, Yorgun Marcel, received the award on June 30, 2026 at the NCDA annual conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Career Center’s 35-year journey is a story of transformation, from a pioneering vision in 1991 to a regional and global force igniting purposeful career guidance for generations of students. 

Today, as we celebrate the milestone of NCDA’s 2026 Exemplary Career Center Award, the AUC Career Center stands poised to shape the future, cascading innovation, strategic partnerships, and global impact.
