AUC Students Win the L'Oreal Brandstorm 2026

The American University in Cairo (AUC) celebrates students Armia Samir, Nayer Sami and Mark Emad for advancing to the L’Oréal Brandstorm 2026 global competition.

"We are proud to represent both The American University in Cairo and Egypt on the global stage and we are grateful to the Career Center and everyone who supported us along the way," said Samir. "Now, we are ready for Paris".

The students competed in the National Finals against more than 6,700 participants. They noted that it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of their time at the University. The competition helped the students to think beyond all academic backgrounds and build something with real consumer insight behind it.

Samir added, "SCENTHOOD, our fragrance community platform for L’Oréal Luxe, started as an idea between the three of us, and seeing it take us all the way to the top in Egypt is something we will never forget".
