Rodaina Saad Elazizy November 24, 2025

The AUC Fall Employment Fair was organized by the AUC Career Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The Employment Fair takes place each semester to provide AUC students and alumni with the chance to secure their place in the job market.

For the first time, a "Live Panel Series" was organized to present a variety of professional and up-to-the-minute topics. The three panels covered “AI’s Role in Driving Innovation Across Industries,” “What Employers Look for in Today’s Job Market,” and “Untapped: Careers for Artists and Humanitarians.” “I was so excited for the panel at this fair. It was very enriching and insightful,” said Reem Sleem, a student majoring in mechanical engineering.

Starting at 11 am, around 2,000 students and alumni gathered at the ARTOC Sports Court. Each student visited booths of different entities, seeking opportunities for a job or internship and getting a sense of real roles across various career fields.

Around 90 companies participated with appealing booths and engaging activities. Representatives of each industry were welcoming to all students, sharing available work opportunities and answering student questions.
“We really love the passion and the positive energy students have. This increases our confidence that each student is a potential, unique candidate for us,” said Salma Abu Zeid, marketing specialist at OdoTech.

Students listened carefully as representatives discussed available job opportunities and the qualifications that make a strong candidate. Many arrived with their resumes prepared to explore potential opportunities as they pursued practical experience relevant to their fields of study and career interests.
“I’m excited to apply what I’ve been learning in an actual job. Hence, I’m here to seek internship opportunities and network with professionals in my field,” said Kerollos Remon, a business and entrepreneurship major.

“AUC Employment Fair is such an interesting opportunity. We are meeting highly qualified candidates from both students and alumni; they all have the mandatory skills and strong academic background,” said Hend El-Beheiry, head of the Communications Department at General Motors in Egypt and Africa.

Students expressed motivation to continue developing their skills and qualifications to become competitive candidates in the job market. They were encouraged by the variety of opportunities available.
“I’m getting more excited to involve myself in the job market. I feel like I have a lot to give and a lot more to learn from the current opportunities,” said Omaima Mokhtar, a junior majoring in MICT.

The AUC Career Center remains committed to organizing the Employment Fair every semester. Over the years, the Fair has hosted multiple entities with diverse opportunities for AUC students and alumni, guiding them as they pursue their dream jobs and advance their career paths.
